Committee of the Whole - West Hants Regional Municipality The purpose of the Committee of the Whole is to provide detailed discussions and considerations of matters before Council makes a final decision and then make recommendations to Council of what should be done. It also carries out the duties and responsibilities of Council set forth in Part XV Dangerous and Unsightly Premises of the Municipal Government Act; as well as the duties of the Regional Emergency Management Advisory Committee as set forth the Regional Emergency Management By-law of the Municipality;

The Committee of the Whole meets monthly, except in August and December, on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm.
